Project | Jack-Up Barge supports Energieküste

We’re proud to support a major European energy project alongside a team of Dutch experts. The construction of the Brunsbüttel energy terminal, located on Germany’s Energieküste (Energy Coast), is a significant milestone in the European energy transition. It’s all about securing a reliable and future-proof energy supply for Europe.

We’re excited to be part of this effort, as Ballast Nedam Infra B.V. and Hakkers Waterbouw combine their strengths to construct a large sea jetty and a smaller berth for LNG bunker ships and barges. The construction will be carried out using advanced crane vessels, floating sheerlegs, and high-capacity pontoons, applying the latest technology to ensure efficiency and sustainability throughout the process.

Work on the sea jetty is set to begin in summer 2025, with completion expected by end of 2026.

We look forward to great cooperation with all partners involved—together, we’re building the future of energy.
